Vidura Prabhath

Remembrance - Poem by Vidura Prabhath

I remember the days of yore
When we were so close to eachother
That ourselves seemed to dissolve

In the corner of the park
Covered with lonely trees
I stand, I wait one lonely evening
You have not turnedup and will never

I wait till the sun disdolves
But never will our souls be dissolved
Absorbing into my mind ample pains
You have gone, I am too late
My bliss withers with thee, my love

Poet's Notes about The Poem

It's only when she left me and flew to another's hand, i began to love her. Her remembrance stays with me
