Reparations Poem by Melanie Barker

Reparations

An infernal warrant, you have denied.
You scoffed at us, behind my back.
Now you cower before me,
in the face of my redemption.
To have been so cunning, it humors me to see
what a martyr, you will be.

To another you've pledged my future,
My Seeded Legacy.
Your passion writhed and writhed together.
An overflow of tenacity took hold
and bulges in her belly.

Lady Justice seeks you tonight my love.
Take her hand and don't be afraid.
Redemption is Glory and
Closure is Mine.
Peice be with you love on your journey tonight.
Eye for an Eye, Tooth for a Tooth,
that feels good and,
Jesus Saves!

It's the numbness of your heart I seek,
with my Steel intrusion.
It yeilds a heart as black as mine,
Dripping on my feet.
