Being crushed under foot like,
The muse of war! !
But, it is well with my soul.

Reproach, approach!
Damaging the facts is like,
Willingly giving up on your dreams;
But, it is well with my soul.

Scrapings!
Approved,
Acute and abtuse in the land of your muse;
And like our ways on this earth,
But, it is well with my soul.

Reproach, approach!
Sit down quietly and remain silent;
Think about your mistakes and,
See how best to overcome the odds! !
For, it ia well with my soul.
