this life of mine,
I have lived it quite selfishly.
It seems
I let this sinful world get the best of me.
I come to you now,
hoping you will rescue me.

we both know,
the lies and sins I have committed
although I have begged for forgiveness,
it’s not easy for me to forget it.

I’m sorry,
for you I have taken advantage.
this wicked world we live in,
I just don’t understand it.
instead of asking you for happiness,
it seems people just demand it,
how is it everyone has taken you for granted?

being alive
lets me know you believe in me.
but how is it,
sinning comes to us so easily?

please God,
im asking you to rescue me,
then ill be able
to leave this world happily.
