Reservation And Mandela Poem by Asit Kumar Sanyal

Reservation And Mandela

When South Africa became free in 1990
African Tribes demanded Reservations
they wanted it in education and employment
Mandela said... no, no, never
it's not possible if I do it
reservations and its products will destroy
entire South Africa
Patients will die at the hands of such doctors
Buildings will collapse at the hands of such engineers
Money will fly away in the hands of such economists
Justice will fall down at the hands of such judges
education will collapse at the hand of such teachers
destroying a nation atom bomb not required
long-range missiles not required
It only requires lowering the quality of education
a collapse of education, a collapse of country.
