Respect The Carer Poem by tiffany robinson

Respect The Carer

Rating: 5.0

i'm a carer
so young and pure
for i care for my family
ill and disabled
i put my life on hold

i don't have time
to enjoy the things somebody else
who is 14 does
my life is not mine
but my family's

i want to enjoy life
but i can't
for my mum and uncle need me
for life is not my own

i'm a carer
so young and pure
for i care for my family
ill and disabled
i put my life on hold.

Lovely poem that depicts profound love (philos) , and commitment one has for family, well articulated and nicely brought from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. Truly a very challenging situation for a teenager. Thanks for sharing Tiffany.
