Kailia Chatterton (February 16,1994 / Lexington, NC)
Restless Nights
Sleep has escaped me once more,
I wish to dream of you and nothing more.
Another day, another night without you
God Damnit, I feel so lost and alone
A giant hole in my chest where your presence is lost,
During these Restless Nights.
It seems every night now,
I wake sometime near three
An image in my head of you and me
During these Restless Nights
I feel so cold and dumb,
So dreary and dumb,
without you here with me,
During these Restless Nights
Your beautiful face,
that heartfluttering smile I truly miss,
And dont forget that heart throbbing kiss;
Your gorgeous brown eyes,
your curly brown hair,
I miss you so much and it's not fair
During these Restless Nights
The way you laugh the way you walk,
I could only sit and gawk;
The way you held me,
the way you touched me
So many memories I now see
During these Restless Nights
Sleep has escaped me once more,
I wish to dream of you and nothing more,
On this Restless Night.
