Retalhos

Analisados os fatos
Interpretados os atos
Coração remendado
Feito colcha de retalhos
Unidos por linhas tecidas
Por poeira de estrelas
Que unem alegrias
E abrilhantam as tristezas
Novamente sou uma só,
Por inteira
Sem rancor, nem choradeira
Um laço sem nó
Reconheço me, como talvez
Não reconheça a ti mesmo
Percorro meus caminhos, como talvez
Você faça a esmo
Sigo em frente, embora me perca
Em meios
Embora me encontre em começos
Me olho, me vejo, me conheço
Num infinito lampejo
Não sei onde é o fim, mas sei
Que estou apenas no começo.

Poem of the Day

poet Sir Walter Raleigh

EVEN such is Time, that takes in trust
Our youth, our joys, our all we have,
And pays us but with earth and dust;
