Returning Home? Poem by Christopher Tye

Returning Home?

Rating: 3.5

Returning Home?

A dream slipping away,
As the road grows ever longer,
As time for this mortal body ebbs away.

Still yearning for the utopia of my youth again,
The old family home for generations,
A little piece of England's green and pleasant land,
Now perhaps lost to me forever.
