Revisiting Narcissus, After A Friend Mentions Him In A Party
there he sits by the pool
seeing only his reflection
how handsome he is,
echo watches him with pity
how the world moves and changes
there will be no concern whatsoever
and this includes his demise
how others say, he so deserves it
selfish narcissus, did he ever care
about his echo?
