Rhyme: Broken Hearts Cry Silently Poem by Caryl Ramsdale

Rhyme: Broken Hearts Cry Silently

Rating: 5.0

Admire, cherish, value, prize
All who are put in your care;
Broken hearts cry silently
Sending out petition prayers.
You can make a difference with
A word, a look, or a motion.
Crushed spirits are sensitive—
They read every emotion.
Abused, alarmed, and anxious
All crave a quiet time-out;
They back away to safe space
Unsure, and filled with self-doubt.
Convinced they're wrong, don't belong,
Having no rights makes them sad.
Belittled much, they believe
They're worthless, ugly and bad.
No best friend in their corner—
Forlorn, head-bent and long-faced;
One slips into seclusion
In a dark and distant place.

Caryl always exposes the process of heavenly gems radiating through in-depth poetry. Love it.
