Riots Poem by jim ballantyne

Riots

I see you do not go my way
wide boulevards
hospitals, schools, bars, restaurants and parks
A world of bliss for all

I see you have a crackdown
troops, curfew
lock them up
soon Madame Guillotine
She will make things right.

God is on your side too.

Interesting....especially in light of the recent riots. I also liked the format, with the last line of each stanza beginning a new sentence and meanwhile summarizing the stanza.
