Ripples Glided Through Lotus Pond Poem by KAVIN CHARALAN

Ripples Glided Through Lotus Pond

Rating: 4.5

Night said goodbye and dreams too
Day welcomed me with warmth
Lotus opened its soft petals
at the touch of morning sun rays
With the kisses of the breeze
the ripples glided through lotus pond
A sparrow was foolishly picking up
water drops on the green lotus leave
thinking it may be a white eatable grain
Birds spread their wings from the trees
and were singing many morning music notes
Flowers were dancing gently in the wind
Wind came inside and pulled my hands
and made me an audience to this morning excellence
