Risk It And Believe Poem by David Hunter

Risk It And Believe

Rating: 5.0

Usually, I see what you see
Through your eyes, hearts and diamonds.
But what you feel is reality,
Broken glass, torn paper, and the name Raymond.

I chose to love you,
Not for your beauty or touch.
I chose to love you,
Only for your heart and soul I love so much.

Tears formed to be dried
By the ones who love you most.
The sea air is clear, waves collide,
Yet, you and I say our prayers with no cost.

I will love you till the end of time,
will you love me the same, too?
Be truthful, what shall you do when love's a crime,
Will you leave me be knowing it's true?

Or would you risk it and believe,
Love is what treasures our hearts.
Would you risk it and believe,
Love is pleasing, but keeps pleasures apart.
