Feel the warmth of her blood
As you step into her shoes
Feel the colours of her skin
As you gaze into her bruise.
Watch the wrong turns she made
She crossed too many signs
She never thought they would fade
Until she saw no boundary or line.
Look at the poison she drinks
Disguised as what she needs
It eats her inside
On her life it feeds.
She took every chance
Every chance she felt
Every time it broke her heart
And left her to dealt.
Yet she walks down alleys and streets
She’ll keep walking until herself she meets.
