Roaming Heart

Sometimes...

I hate going home
I'd much rather roam

Hide in my garden
And soak in the sun

Wandering the river
Is always more fun

There's nothing there for me
Of peace I'm stripped bare

I can't hear my thoughts
Or breath in the air

I wish I could live
Without all this care

I would like to transform
Into an old oak tree

I'd hide in the shadows
Where they couldn't see me

In my new life
As a beautiful tree

No one would ever
Recognize me

In my tree life
Of sanctity

Hidden from my tormentors
I'd finally be free

Of this worlds theatre in which we stay,
My love like the spectator ydly sits
Beholding me that all the pageants play,
Disguysing diversly my troubled wits.
