Robin Poem by Lazarus Knix

Robin

The robin’s radiant crimson crest,
Bared upon his convex chest,
Marks my soul’s manifestation,
Of soaring joy’s rejuvenation.

Nature’s gifts are all eternal,
Yet man’s life so ephemeral.
Earthly beauty seems to me,
An elevated mercy.
