Adventure. Poem by Lazarus Knix

Adventure.

Rating: 5.0

Life is divided into,
Two states of being-

That which is stillness,
And that which is motion

Within stillness, a man yearns
For motion, yet never prepares

Within motion, a man vies
To rest, yet never learns.

And when home, one
Dreams Of adventure.

Yet on adventure, one
Always dreams of home.

It's good. It starts out like some Chinese philosophy of the truth of existence, and closes like a wise saying the local preacher would end his sermon with (a wise preacher, not the regular sort! LOL)

So much symbolism within the poem within the poem... Basically describes the yin and yang, the black and white, which divides even more of this half and half life we live. Favourited, and a 10 for you.

A poem travelling between a static force and a stationary force....The idealogy is unique and description of adventure in reference to the two states of physics is just superb............10/10 Best Wishes Sameer
