Rolling In Poem by Samir Actuated

Rolling In

Why do I stammer when they talk to me
Where could I be
Living my dreams?
Rich surrounded by friends
Having the talk of the town
The friends I drifted away from?
Must be the silver equalled by the weight of gold
Breathing through my teeth to harness another strength
Out of the gutter for my dear life
