The framers of Constitution
Strived to give us democracy.
The rulers through deviations
Amendments & interpretations
And the concepts hybridization
Put in it autocracy, aristocracy....

The model of governance
Was evolved by the confluence
Of the cunning & the prudence
Of the patriots too eminent.
Otherwise too who are prominent
Now control our polity nascent.

Too apt was the governance
Impeccable integrity & countennance
Of the heads in this score of years
Thereby changing meaning of words
Their role too was hit by swords,
Now there is nothing to spare.
