Rose Flower (To Flower) Poem by Chidiebube onye Okohia

Rose Flower (To Flower)

Lo!
The womb that welcomed your unruffled mien,
Lo!
The loveliest of teen in lore unseen;
Lo!
Erstwhile, voices singing your praise,
Lo!
They're awe-struck by your beautiful face!

Oft your sweet voice sparks distemper to wele
Graceful presence, exuberance of youth
How you shine with love than the best flow'rs
The clouded skies turn hot-red to your truth
The perfect wife a ripe prince would woo
A lassie, a flower that never riles
One could tell by your charm, chastity and ken
Hail! A kiss from you whets utmost desires.
