Rot Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Rot

Way in, way out
Single two days
Of blue collar
The dawn and death
Both don't have full
Full twenty four hours
As per routine schedule.

A moment is enough
To live or die
Or else to buy
Buy huge wealth
And also bricks of gold
But, can't buy-
A moment for life.

Nevertheless
Time is a great healer
Venture and dealer
Yielding an interest
Without catching hold
Of friction of a second
To subtract or add to life
Futile goes the trial-
To compromise with time.

Even though-
The time is measured
Measured in success
But, can't be compensated
In terms of kind or cash.

Loss of possession is no loss
But, life span once lost-
Can't be regained or recalled.
