Run My Spirit Run Poem by Mandla Prince KedamileKoti

Run My Spirit Run

Rating: 4.5

Run my spirit run, run while you can my inner man
You ran and associated yourself with conscience and instincts
but the scandalized you
You ran and hid yourself in the depths of my well structured body,
still there was no peace.
Your very own cover buffeted you, terrorised you silently with evil desires.
Run my spirit run, run to the hands of thy maker not thy breaker.

You endured all, suffered all
But you cannot bow out like them all
Dress yourself with purity as you run to the pierced hands of the King of Glory.
Clothe yourself with the garment of holiness
Run my spirit run, run while you can my inner man

The wrinkled arms of dishonesty are stretched out
pulling and tearing your robe of righteousness.
run my spirit run, run while you can my inner man
deeper into the arms that supports the foundation of the earth.

The atrocious eyes of immorality have pierced your cover, the flesh that has hidden you for years and years.
trying to entangle you with the affiars of this world.
Run my spirit run, run while you can my inner man

This is not the race but the chase, chased by the deciever trying to steal, destroy and kill you
You have escaped many traps, don't give up you are closer and closer to your refuge.
Run my spirit run, run while you can my inner man
Run to the unseen world where you will no longer walk by faith, but live and be strengthened by what is seen

You are not far from home my spirit, run as fast as you can
Run while you can, run to your heavenly tent

BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN SPIRIT FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD - Sermon On The Mountain. FAITH KEEPS THOSE WHO KEEP THE FAITH - Mother Teresa. A well articulated poem written with divine insight to capture the essence of the piece. A written expression of Total Submission to HIS WILL. Very nice indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
