Sacrifice



For something good a price must be paid,
whether or not the prize is worth it is up to you.
An eye for an eye, a permanent trade,
Pure love is to be given to give love that's true.
Break one persons heart for another to renew.

A true friend doesn't limit what they'll do,
You know I'd do anything for you.
Life is something that could easily go away,
But a brother is one that will always stay.
So for you I'd give my life and so much more
if you it would make happy, that's what I swore.

Love may not be forever, so I can live without,
but that smile on your face brings a sadness drought.
So goodbye to love is what I'll say,
if you'll be happy and here with me stay.
