Sacrifice Poem by Allian Bern Fuentes

Sacrifice

I was as white as the waters
But then bloods fall on me like tears
Inside of me are the ashes
Closing my eyes that wake my fear
I'm shaking and about to break
Darkness and fires crawl slowly in my skin

Gladly you came from the highest
Gave your life and cleansed my skin
No love is greater than this
Lived for me and snatched my pain
You moved the mountains and buried my sins
Became the least and rose up as the best
