Sad Tale Poem by tonya truitt

Sad Tale

Here's a sad tale
Blue eyed dreamer he is called,
He spent his days on looking in to space,
Wishing his life would get better,
He goes home to an empty house,
Maybe their's one creepy mouse,
but he is all alone,
His Father left when he was three,
He said he needed to be free so he left them,
He nevers see his mom any more she leaves in, the middle of the night,
Sometimes she doesn't come back for days,
He works at the grocery store for money,
Or he stares at the ceiling thinking, dreaming,
Of something better,
While he hurts inside he hides his true feelings, from the world,
Shetlering himself from the pain,
Wishing the rain was over and the sun would, Come out but it doesn't so he says to himself,
Maybe another day.
