Said Goodbye Poem by Courtney Beaudry

Said Goodbye

I wonder if you know
I'm happy without you here
If you can see it
If you can feel it
That he's all I'll ever need

And I don't want you, now
I'll hold onto it
To this promise
That you'll never be mine again

I've said goodbye
Even if it hurts somewhere, goodbye
I don't need or want you, in my life
And no matter what
I swear to you; stop asking
That that was the very last night
Tonight, I've said goodbye

Control your temper, I'm sick of lectures
You set me free; I'm gone
There's no words to say
To express the wrong

And he's all I care about
So I'll hold onto this
To this promise
That you'll never be mine, again

So I've said goodbye
Even if it hurts somehwere, goodbye
I don' need or want you, in my life
And no matter what
I swear to you, stop asking
That that was the very last night
Tonight, I've said goodbye
