Said Sensuality To The Poet Poem by Amy Marie

Said Sensuality To The Poet

My closest Companion: Use me all up in every one of
Your hand-crafted poems. I leave my essence scattered over everything -
Whether you know it or not. So lay your youthful gaze on me -
Whatever color it may currently be.

Peek through the pink or purple drapes of your
Low but large window to find me outside. May I introduce you to
My refreshing friend - Nature? We'll show you how stars
Twinkle in the night sky that resembles a depressed mind.

Or drink me in your next anticipated drink.
Before semi-shiny wine passes your dark pink puffy lips -
Inhale my poignant scent in it. Let the translucent drink
Stare indefinitely back up at your soft face – reflecting its color in your cheeks.

Take in my essence next time your
Colorful gaze comes blissfully over a solitary candle.
With me it's not really alone - you know.
The flame will flicker - casting a dim circle of light around itself.

Hear my needed voice in a lonely crackling fire.
Stare into it and listen to what I
Have to say. I'll have it make popping sounds to fill your peachy pink ears.
Use such sounds in your necessary poems.

Feel me under your pale pink blankets
At night. Close your eyes and try to visualize me.
I'll appear in my finest and deepest rosy pink dress -
If you'll let me.

I leave my essence everywhere -
Whether you know it or not.
