Salt Of The Earth Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Salt Of The Earth

S-he's the salt of the earth,
A-lways there to rescue;
L-onging to help anyone,
L-et she prove it to
Y-ou.

S-he's the salt of the earth,
A-lways there to lend a hand;
N-ot for a time will she ignore
T-he hopeless and poor man.
I-'m awed by the salt of the earth,
A-s she supports all the way;
G-iving aid to humanity
O-n May fifteenth sunny day.

S-he's the salt of the earth,
A-lways there to offer light;
N-ight shadows disappear
T-o set everything aright.
O-pening the heart of man, cleaning up the grime and dirt;
S-he invites to show the truth, she's the salt of the earth.
