Salvation Poem by manaswini dash

Salvation

Rating: 4.5

Several times I have tried
to climb up
To the top of my imaginary Himalaya
But every time I had a head on collision
With the mirage of despair
Neither the pinkish dawn nor the reddish sunset
Neither the fragrance of night flowers
nor the cold wind of night
bring the ray of hope for me.
Still among all the negativity-
among the fierce tempest and the strong waves
My boat of hope is still smoothly sailing
without fearing and caring anybody.
Always a twinkle of hope that emerges from within
used to sparkle in my heart.
My soul always sings the song of togetherness,
in the chirping of birds
and the humming of bees
Every rhythm of that song is meant
to touch the soul of everybody
and drive away all the polluted things from them
The lush green grass dance with its tune
and spread the message of eventual truth of life.
I know one day, it will have a deep drive
in the deep blue sea
to find the pearl of eternity
and holding those pearls as an oblation
it will rise up and up,
to mingle in the endless sky,
to be with Him,
to find its ultimate objective,
the salvation and nothing but the salvation
