samay: ek aina ajab

samay ki raftar me hum kya kuch chod aye

wo batein wo yadein hum mitate chale aye

takdeer ke i ajab se khel me akele hote chale aye

har jagah har dil pe apni chamak chodte chale aye

na koi manzil na koi dhikana gumshum rahon pe chalte chale aye

tamanna dil me dabakar muskrate chale aye

samay ke ajab se aine kya kuch.dekhte chale aye

chodkar apni galiyon ko asma ki ser ko nikal aye

mile kitne kante par unhe bhi muskan dete chale aye

manzil ki talaash me pathrili rahon.pe chalte chale aye

ho gya itna sabkuch phir bhi band kamre me kavita karte chale aye

poet Sir Walter Raleigh

EVEN such is Time, that takes in trust
Our youth, our joys, our all we have,
