Same Mistakes Poem by Jacson Gelato

You may think it is not true
but it is happening everywhere:
lonely girls going outin the night
for a disco or a drink in the pub
just to meet someone and inter-act;
if they like him, they take him home
or he takes her home and they make love
all thro the night
they amuse themselves as they drink wine
they are not sincere or committed to each other
they just want to spend the night together;
no promises, no hard feelings, no anger
it is a contract just for the night;
if that affair continues, it develops into love
it mostly vanishes after a few weeks;
again they go out in the night
looking for new partners, new amusement,
no one is jealous, no one is possessive
neither love getsinundated or revengeful;
it is a game of mere fascination
it is a night of sheer ecstasy and excitement;
sometimes they are on the streets
holding each other, exhausting their passion
and their screaming is so loud,
it makes people wake up
who look out of their windows;
no one calls the cops or the firemen;
they call it the days of wild youth
and overlook the acts of obscenity they see;
they admit when they were young
they had also done the same mistakes.
