Same Thing Poem by Paul Reed

Same Thing

Rating: 4.0

It's all part of the same thing

That's what you have to understand

Although that message doesn't ring

True, in the ever-shifting sand;

For there are so many facets

To this multi-sided ghost

That raise debts and strip assets

And you unwittingly play host;

If only there were a switch

Attached to the side of your head

All your problems to ditch

All the right things to have said;

To unscramble the secret code

To focus through the blur

To set you on the right road

To stop the blizzard and the whir;

But just remember above all

As your senses scream and sing

Like the many bricks in the wall

They're all part of the same thing.
