Same Time And Place
I watched you die.
I watched them murder you and I didn’t do anything to stop it.
Your face and head was so beautiful,
Who knew they’d chop it.
They chopped it off,
For all to see,
They chopped it off,
Right in front of me.
I screamed and cried,
And shouted your name,
I prayed for help, anything,
But no one ever came.
I saw your face,
I told you to look at me,
I knew you were in pain,
And I was the last face you would ever see.
I watched you die,
And there was nothing I could do.
I told myself I could not live,
And that I would die without you.
They took you from me,
And I didn’t know how they could.
We were so in love and happy,
I didn’t think they would.
They did and now I live with the fact,
That every time I see you face.
I relive that day over again,
In the same time and place.
