Samson Poem by Arthor Journer

Samson

His soul blushes at the very glance of her delicate smile glaring white
His skin quivers from the swarm of butterflies that just took flight
Beyond her smile though is a heart of darkness and deceit
Black widow in search of the next victim’s defeat
Stunned by her hypnotic affects he just stands and waits
She approaches him slowly grinning sexily thus beginning the masquerade
A short quick kiss on his cheek sends his heart a flutter
Heat from their lips melts his defenses like they were butter
With all borders and barriers torn down she just waltzes in
A Trojan horse sneaking through the Bastille disguised as a friend
Her kind words invite him to tell the secret of his inner strength
That it is not in the workout routine or books read but his hairs’ length
With the mystery told and his body and mind in perfect peace
He lays softly on her bosom and quickly falls asleep
Awakening in a panic to find his locks on the ground
Lake of tears from pain and anger form at the feet of this enemy found
