Sanity? Poem by Samuel wiles

Sanity?

Give me something to think about,
Give me something to write about,
Give me something to love
And I will but it to ease, I will turn against all odds.
Destroy the very thing we enjoy, And within a blink it will be gone
Blink again and just might be there again
It can all be there
It can all be here.
A lifetime can change in a instance, one blink is all it takes
Your baby grown,
Your car gone,
Your dog put down.
But yet there is always hope,
Always faith, for some or for none,
We can alway count on something.
My life, your life.
It still hangs on, we can change much, or we can change nothing.
My life, your life, still stands in it‘s place.
Look in the mirror, it may have changed
Put it is still your face.
We can be happy or sad, but we still believe and hang on
That is what life is,
Just hang on, you may be hungover or overly hung
You may be fat, skinny, tall, with a big behind
But it‘s allright,
At least you are not out of your mind.
Insanity, sanity, not much difference if you ask me
We are all a bit insane, you can say what you want to
If we dont loose our mind every now and then,
We just might miss life.
Tell me a sonnet and I will make it a story,
Give me a man and I will make him a legend,
Give me a glass of water and a week
And I just might show up with wine.
Call me a messiah,
Or whatever you like,
Im just a simple man, with a still in an insanse asylum.
My name is Samuel and I will see you in hell.
