Save Our Terra (Don't Drop That Bomb) Poem by Paul Amrod

Save Our Terra (Don't Drop That Bomb)

Rating: 5.0

Don't drop that bomb we're begging you please
We're pleading on our bended knees
We feel like we're in prison
Soon our souls will all be risen
Don't drop that bomb say Adam and Eve
Give all the one chance to conceive
Take care with Human Nature
Please don't fall victims of this caper.
Money runs everyone's life, it's not much fun
Stressing us and making us uptight
Screwing the brainwashed till the war is done
Breaking us all with their stupid fright
Hard sales twist the truth
With incredibly wicked schemes
We scream 'It is so uncouth! '
Being stalked by bad dreams
The President and the commissar are no comrades
All philosophy has turned so bad like a rotten apple
Which Eve's garden never could have grown
Now peace has fallen out of sight
From New Orleans to Leningrad
Maybe Elvis cried tears in the chapel
Over the miseries so well-known
Don't drop that bomb we're begging you please
We're pleading on our bended knees
We feel like we're in prison
Soon our souls will all be risen
Take care with Human Nature
The propaganda is in the papers
Jeffersonism and Marxism are no schism
Perhaps with one smart decision
the policies together would bring newer tones.
Now the cold war has reappeared
with no cooperative atmosphere.
Using the low intensity tactics
Leaving the blueprint in the attic
Instead of altruistically lending a helping hand
the burning bush is in the Holy Land.
Alas the stories of an ancient yore
have missed the point and closed the door.
Absolutely calloused making all paranoid
Reading the nonsense scribbled on a tabloid
Never thinking of distributing wealth
or giving the third world wisdom and health.
Let's not hear that mad alarm
or inflict the earthly dwellers with heartless harm!
Don't drop that bomb
Think better of the tender and calm
falling in relaxtion and ease
as our ancient goddess is appeased.
