Save The Tiger Poem by Aries Ahluwalia

Save The Tiger

Rating: 4.5

Killing tiger is banned,
In India and in far east,

But in some countries,
People still kill tigers,

For their fur because it is soft,
For their bones - for Chinese believe,

That, tiger bones have the power to heal,
But hunters still track them down,

And kill these beautiful beasts,
When they are seen in their habitats,

They represent the symbol of Power, Energy and Royalty,
They are lovely sights from heaven,

Known as the link between man and gods
We have to stop killing them,

Extinction is around the corner.
SAVE THE TIGER!

Lovely depiction of the beauty of tigers with an urgent call to prevent their extinction. A well articulated piece of poetry, insightfully penned with conviction. A good poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
