The only liquid earth life craves is water
High in the skies wanders the condors, low
In the ground a hardy cory and its tiny daughter
All needs this liquid, becoming celebrated at a blow.
I
Every dropp drooping from the sky above
Like a bright star visiting the earth giving light
Water comes from clouds down in love
For the organisms to sustain with no fight.
II
All global waters can't make us drink
Most of the waters around us are saline
Few available as fresh, and here got to think
Saving the freshwater elsewhere can't be fine.
