Savored Poem by Nikia Tate

Savored

Savored like a Hershey kiss, sweet lips the taste of darkness bliss. All around may be amiss, but no thing grips my thoughts like this. Caught in the blinding lights of infatuation's spell, intentions unknown at the cusp of time will tell. Such thoughts and desires aren't mine alone, you are here and set like words in stone. You'd gladly take my breath away, to leave me yours, a gesture that begs to stay. Eyes wide open, and lost, us two. In windows to the soul, beneath the sky, starlit and navy blue.
