Little girl, please don't cry
There is always a softer side.
Don't hide away your lonely heart,
don't leave it alone in the dark.

Little girl, why are you so sad?
What broke your heart? What was so bad?
A love was lost, though a battle fought,
He was not the love that you sought.

Little girl, ignore this icy chill,
That creeps upon your heart and kills.
Little girl, silent are your desperate cries,
It is time to let go, say goodbye.
