Scarlett Poem by Ima Ryma

Scarlett

Rating: 5.0

Scarlett O'Hara at the end,
When left by Rhett had this to say,
In the novel, 'Gone with the Wind, '
'Tomorrow is another day.'
Many tomorrows later, came
A sequel, 'Scarlett, ' where the two,
Scarlett and Rhett, make up with aim,
Together starting lives anew.
Another sequel may come to
Tell of Scarlett's cheating on Rhett.
Her church does force Scarlett to do
Penance to pay for her sin debt.

The last words that Scarlett does say,
'What's with this scarlet letter 'A'? '

"Gone with the Wind" the novel and the movie are among my favourites. And Scarlett O'Hara is a character I liked, somehow, with all her negativity. I was just a teen, then. But, definitely I would invite you
