Scars from decades of struggles,
Countless old wounds remain,
Atonement perhaps for my sins,
Reminders of old battles won and lost,
Scars aren't always visible to others.
Often wounds heal without leaving a scar. Our memories are often scars of pain or embarrassment that we finger with our mind to know we are not perfect and that subtle ridge is a blemish a lesson a reminder a road bump of caution.
Maybe scars are not visible for others but it is good if you can see it, to remind how strong you are to fight those bad days...and remind you what you can have in past, the lesson...they cant see the scars because they are in your inside...but carry them like a warrior that win in battlefield...each scars then told the story and pride..be strong_Soul
Wonderful. Scars aren't always visible to others. The poem is short but has a message in it. Very good write Jahan

Wonderful it is to appreciate the value of your life knowing just what you have survived. We have learnt and sometimes gained from our battles.
