Scraps Poem by Carolyn Brunelle

Scraps

A powerhouse of industry
Cleaned the cobwebs
Of yesterday
Never considered
A better way
That would hold more
Than scraps
At the end of the day.
“Clean, clean, clean...
Life should sparkle”,
A valued lesson of yesterday
Learned well at her knee.
But others too have had their say,
“Let there be time
For life day to day,
Breathe in its joy
And just be.”
