Sea Of New Hope Poem by David Harris

Sea Of New Hope

Rating: 5.0

Across the sea of New Hope,
we sail each day
avoiding the pinnacles of bad luck
as we sail the myriad waves.
Each holds the tendrils
we clung to yesterday.
The wind of change is on us
new courses we sail
hoping the pinnacles will not sink us
as they have done before.
We sail on through our day
escaping whirlpools that will send us in circles,
driving us where confusion lay
just above the pinnacles
where we must not stray.
Land of evening tide is spotted
we row into shore
finished on the sea of New Hope
for another day.

Chance and luck apparently just as involved in ocean life as on the land. Very picturesque words in there, thanks.
