Sealed Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Sealed

Sealed

Scuba diving?
A question in the air, lingering
Curious, what for is, is despair?

“Arms and legs must be synch.”
“Heart and mind in serene.”
“Decision must be firm.”
“And fear minimized, and disdained.”
“The truth and the fact, be bedsheet, blanket.”
Scuba started…
Water’s lips and the shores, and beaches fragments.
Opened mouth of water like the whale’s
Moby Dick’s, in Conrad’s Heart of Dark…
Waves and waves…and more waves…floating bottles sealed…
Each timbers…and each cork…and each…raised heartbeat,
Blue-green, green-blue of fear, sea-smell,
Horizon the shameless: “is shameless…is shameless…
It makes love in open…without a blanket…”

Come the waves… swimmer…
Curves bubbles…goes under…
Scuba and Diver.
Dreams rise, come guesses, images.

Far, close, up, under
Float Corpses
Too many as if corks
Till stench, is near

Piece of net broken
Floating
The preys inside it,
Tortoises are long dead.

“Hell with you…the dumb dead…” saw killers brutal
“Oh my God! ” said, came out; then “Goodbye.”

We float like corpses on these waves…
As do the messages in bottles.

Beautiful poetry. Sort of philosophical. Enjoyed. Thanks for sharing.
