Search Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Search

The search required
Walking through thick foliage.
It involved climbing on rocks.
This search never ended.

The search required
A quiet mind.
This search went on and on
Into the wilderness in front of me.

I searched the whole world.
I searched my whole soul.
I searched my mind and heart.
It was when I stopped searching

That I found out what I was looking for.
