Searching

I am searching for a man
A man with blue eyes
Blue as the sky
Eyes deeper than the Pacific ocean
I am searching for a man
A man with black hair
Black as the feather on a raven
but softer than a summer breeze
I wonder has anyone seen him
I am searching for a man
Who can wake me up
from this numb dream I'm living
I am searching for a man
whos face I saw in the stars once
I am searching for a man
But not any man
A man who can love me
through the cruelty of this world and life
I am searching for a man
who could be my soulmate
My other half
I am searching for a man I saw in heaven once

I love this poem! So much imagery! If I may make one correction for you, the line, I wonder have anyone seen him
might sound better as I wonder has anyone seen him. Just a thought! Otherwise certainly no complaints! I think it's wonderful! (Report) Reply
