Captivated by the dance of a waterfalls’ new journey, unleashed by winters clutches, cold yet surreal, but I’m still looking…
Waking up to the sounds of a campfire cracking and popping into the crisp night air, startled by the sound, yet peacefully falling back asleep, listening…
Playfully trying to inhale the first fragrant smell of a flower being released from there slumber of an early morning shower, while still thirsty for the taste for life’s simple pleasers…
Or simply being touched by the grasping hand of my newborn baby firmly attached to my little finger, unsure, unyielding, but still unwilling to let go…
But for all the sights I’ve seen, sounds I’ve heard, smells I noticed, or newborn skin I’ve touched - I've yet to connect with you.
