Searching For Fate

Rating: 5.0

You see a flashlight,
A flashlight searching in the night,
From your window’s glass frame,
But there’s no sound,
No footsteps following,
No voices calling,
Could this only be a daydream?
Or a nightmare in disguise,
The wind is wrapping around,
Around the glowing light,
In a protective cone,
As it calms the storm,
And the waves that engulf the light across,
Across the horizon,
At the world’s closing stage,
Do you feel the ending’s appearance?
In a story perfectly written,
For the ones that are in need,
With talents that are never heard,
Or practiced carefully,
In the spotlight on a wooden platform,
Falling deep inside the thoughts of others,
Or shedding paper,
Just to release your anger,
And fulfill the fate,
The fate that was set long ago,
For every soul and spirit,
That stares out their window,
Searching for something,
Something that only they can find.
